Seasoned Mechanic

Description and Requirements:
MPI is looking for a full-time experienced mechanic. A degree is not required however experience in European and Italian sports cars is preferred.
Specific Skills Include:
- Repairing vehicles or systems using the needed tools
- Determining causes of operating errors
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is
needed
- Watching gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services or processes to evaluate quality or performance
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or
approaches to problems.
Specific Tasks Include but are not limited to:
- Confer with customers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems, and to discuss work to be performed and
future repair requirements
- Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using micrometers, calipers and gauges
- Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions
- Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshields wipers
- Remove and install carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters and pumps
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups
- Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals and experience
- Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine-cooling and electrical systems Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
