Electronics Technician - Dispensers R&D
Neenah, WI.
Responsibilities:
o Conduct technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis and suggest possible resolutions when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, or after manufacturing.
o Assemble and disassemble dispensers using hand tools in order to effectively troubleshoot customer returns.
o Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of electrical components, assemblies or prototypes under simulated operating conditions and record results.
o Write reports detailing dispenser troubleshooting procedures for a wide variety of customers including sales, design engineering, manufacturing and customer service.
o Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design engineering departments to identify, define and solve developmental problems.
o Use independent judgment to separate infrequent manufacturing defects from systemic design or manufacturing issues that require corrective action.
o Be actively engaged with the dispenser quality managers, design engineering and manufacturing teams to address any systemic dispenser quality issues.
Basic
Qualifications:
o Associates degree or higher in the electrical field.
o Minimum 2 years of experience working in the electronics field.
o Experience troubleshooting basic DC circuits and embedded/microcontroller systems devices using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
o Basic through-hole and surface mount soldering skills
o Willing and able to travel up to 10%.
o Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Preferred
Qualifications:
o Electronic Engineering Technology or Electro-Mechanical Technology degree.
o Troubleshooting, manufacturing or quality experience with electronic systems.
o Embedded systems (microcontroller) experience.
o Familiarity with Quality systems and creating procedures.
