We are currently seeking a Surgery Scheduler to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask with ease.
Responsibilities:
Schedule surgeries for patients in a timely and efficient manner Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure all necessary information is obtained for scheduling Communicate with patients regarding their surgery dates, times, and any necessary pre-operative instructions Answer phone calls and respond to emails related to scheduling inquiries Maintain accurate records of scheduled surgeries and patient information Provide education to patients about surgical procedures
Qualifications:
Minimum required education:
Certified Medical assistant Previous experience scheduling surgeries in a medical office or hospital setting preferred Knowledge of phone systems required Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience using EPIC, preferred Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Urology experience preferred, but not required Job Type:
